Jacqueline Buckingham Anderson

Jacqueline Buckingham Anderson was raised in Houston, Texas.  Growing up she spent her free time studying abroad, getting work experience in various disciplines, competing in gymnastics, running cross country and track, spending time with her family and 2 sisters, and was crowned Miss Houston Teen USA 1992.

Jacqueline double-majored in Art History and Business at Emory University in Atlanta. She pursued a professional track in the art world, becoming Assistant Director of The Chassie Post Gallery, and worked in business development at Nexus Contemporary Art Center. She went on to work at Sotheby's in New York and Sotheby's Toronto, and earned a B.A. in Art History from the University of Toronto with highest honors in 1996.

She spent many years working as an actress in New York and Los Angeles in television, film, commercials, and on the stage. Her tv and film work includes roles in Half-Baked, Law & Order, NBC series Ed, and CBS series Hack. She made more than a dozen appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, and also had recurring roles on As the World Turns and Guiding Light.

While in New York City, Jacqueline chaired the Whitney Contemporaries, forming an Executive Committee and tripling its membership in her 3 years. She started Design and Style Consulting LLC in 2004, in New York and Los Angeles, working with individuals and companies conceptualizing and refining styles, designing spaces, and building art collections.

She is the founder and CEO of JBA Art Solutions, a subsidiary of Jacqueline Buckingham Anderson LLC, whose mission is to provide user-generated art collections and accessible archives for large-scale facilities specializing in hotels, healthcare, and corporate environments.

She is also the founder and CEO of Style Meets Life, which offers online style consulting by way her trademarked SML Shopping Formula for mall shoppers and retailers, focusing consumer goals and resources on the most successful experience and result, thereby reducing retail rate of return and building customer loyalty.

Jacqueline has been married to Maxwell L. Anderson for 14 years, and has 2 children, Chase and Devon and a chihuahua, Tavio.
